As a pioneer in adventure, outdoor and mountain outfitting in Nepal, Shangri-La Nepal Trek (SNT) has been helping outdoor enthusiasts and professionals, alike, realize their own haven among the Himalayas of Nepal.
From humble beginnings, 22 years ago, the “Sherpa Shangri-La Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd.,” as it was first known, offered guide services to individual adventurers seeking to traverse the unique landscapes of Nepal. In decades that followed, our company grew into one of the industries most regarded and reliable outfitting company - offering its own brand of pre-planned and custom expeditions to clients all over the world.
Decades of experience, industry insights and partnerships with world-renowned travel-adventure companies and elite athletes, has helped SNT stay on the forefront of the evolving adventure tourism of Nepal; and with its uncompromising aspirations SNT continues to improve on its services. Most recently, realizing the value and advantage of a synergetic approach, SNT has forged a network of local and international partners to deliver an enhanced, more efficient and personalized service guaranteed to satisfy all of our partners’ needs.

Guided by our passion for adventure outfitting, the SNT team is always excited for the next trip!
Jiban has over a quarter-century of experience in the outfitting industry. Known to many mountaineers as the “Man in Nepal,” his professionalism and execution remains unrivaled. Heralded by partners as a passionate, reliable and dedicated individual, he has cultivated long lasting relationships with the who’s who of the mountaineering community. Most recently, he was praised at the “Fixer’s Fixer” by Outside Magazine.
Following in his father’s steps, Sapan joined the company after completing his studies in the United States. He currently oversees the management of SNT and is a passionate adventurer himself. Sapan introduced the “Pedal Experience,” (2010), to SNT. A high-altitude mountain-biking program that takes riders to the most exotic places within Nepal.
Sapana, is an outgoing young enthusiast based in USA as SNT’s contact point. Currently pursuing her Undergrads, she establishes and maintains relations with various educational institutions and people alike who seek information regarding SNT. She did the SNT team proud by summiting the Grand Tetons in Wyoming; she aims of being on top of Mt. Everest someday.
Sagar’s in charge of IT at SNT. He has helped built SNT’s resourceful database and streamlined the company’s operation through a web-based system. Simply put, he is the man that creates IT solutions for SNT problems. Our efficiency owes much to the man.
